Terms of Use
These terms describe the limits of this educational website and free referral service. By using the website or submitting a request, you agree to use it lawfully and provide information you are authorized to share.
Referral service, not a contractor
Lynchburg Well Water is not a water treatment contractor and does not perform installations, drill wells, repair plumbing, issue laboratory reports, or certify water safety. Requests are intended for referral to independent providers, who are solely responsible for their advice, contracts, pricing, work, warranties, and service. No appointment, provider availability, or treatment outcome is guaranteed by submitting a form.
The referral request is free and does not obligate you to buy. Any agreement for testing, installation, maintenance, or other work is between you and the provider. Confirm charges and scope directly, including whether a laboratory test is separate from an in-home screening.
Information is not a property-specific diagnosis
The guides explain questions to discuss with a qualified provider, laboratory, or health department. They do not replace property-specific testing, inspection, medical advice, or a professional design. Linked sources do not endorse this service. Water appearance, taste, and odor alone do not establish safety; Virginia Tech describes the limits of a testing panel and the importance of follow-up. Virginia Tech guidance.
If you suspect unsafe water, have a failed bacteria report, or experience a health concern, seek appropriate professional or health-department guidance promptly. Do not use a referral submission as an emergency notification.
Independent providers and your choices
Ask for written test results, scope, pricing, credentials appropriate to the work, maintenance requirements, and warranty terms before hiring anyone. Virginia law addresses contractor licensing and water well systems provider certification. This website does not substitute for checking a provider's current credentials or applicable legal requirements. Va. Code § 54.1-1103. Va. Code § 54.1-1129.
You may compare proposals, obtain another opinion, or decline work. We do not process installation payments, supply financing, or make a contractor's promises on its behalf.
Forms and current operational limits
Provide accurate contact and property information and do not submit another person's details without authorization. Do not use the forms for spam, unlawful material, or attempts to access records. Automated-call and text consent is optional, not a condition of submitting or purchasing. Data handling is described in the separate privacy policy.
The request form stores requests and attempts an operator email notification when configured. Email is best-effort, and a successful submission is not a confirmation that an independent provider received the request. Do not rely on the current site for time-sensitive assistance.
Availability and changes
We do not guarantee uninterrupted website availability or that every educational statement covers every circumstance. Content and service arrangements may change. Nothing in these terms is intended to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived. Consult the actual provider's agreement for terms governing its work.
